  • October 11th-15th 2007 Medical mission team to Haiti was a great success. The team was able to treat over 300 people in three different villages, Rousseau, Robert and Williamson. They also shared testimonies and conducted a worship service. We ask you to pray that we will find doctors and that we will be able to accommodate more medical missions in the future.

  • April 28-May 5th 2007 Team to Honduras consisting of Kay James, Mary MacEacheron, Richard Parker, Mike Sawyer, Bob & Joyce Coder recently completed a drilling and evangelism trip to Honduras. During the trip Kay, Mary, & Joyce taught women soap & paper making skills and conducted Bible Studies in the afternoon. The women report that the success "Blew them away!" The rest of the team was busy working on repairing the drill rig and beginning to drill a well for Cepudo's Training Center. All went exceptionally well until they developed a burr in the threads of the air hammer. The good news is that the rig is once again operating as it should and there will be a team returning shortly to complete the well that was started.

  • April 14th-20th 2007 Haiti Mission Team consisting of Bob Coder, Nicole Adams and John Willis focused on drilling a well in the mountain village of Rousseau. After our Sunday morning Worship Service in which Rev. Coder challenged the people to turn completely from their voodoo worship and committ themselves to Christ daily, we were blesssed to witness the entire church take a stand against the voodoo in their village. They went throughout the village taking up voodoo crosses and idols and cleansing their homes of voodoo items also. We returned on Monday to begin drilling the well and after several breakdowns throughout the week, we managed to get 23 feet. On Thursday the equipment broke beyond repair and with heavy hearts we had to stop. We are encouraged by the fact that all our setbacks were equipment failure and the ground did not give us any problems. We are currently seeking a Haitian who can finish digging the well by hand and allow us to set the pump, giving Rousseau the blessing of clean water. Please keep them in prayer as this is in the works.

  • Feb 17th-25th Hickory Flats United Methodist Church Team to Choluteca, Honduras consisted of:
Darryl & Linda Martin, Cary & Kim Loesing, Brian Hays, Byron Riebow, Lyle Smith, Jerry Lockabee, our translator, Doris, & myself. We arrrived in San Pedro Sula and made the harrowing 9 hour drive to Choluteca the next day. We were working in a small rural village named San Luis Anach and with an old friend of our's Pastor Fidel Bardales and his wife Chely. We were able to successfully drill a well for this community that previously carried contaminated water from the river. In addition, each day we had very successful & fun VBS sessions with up to 100 children. The team was treated to awesome praise and worship services conducted by Pastor Fidel and his church. The church services were electric and something we shall never forget. We wish you could've enjoyed them with us!

  • The November Honduras team consisted of:
Three generations of Fulbrights...mother & father, Jack & Chestine Fulbright, son Randy Fulbright, daughter Marilyn Parker, & her daughter Laura Parker
    Nick & Vicki Sowell
    Anita McDonald
    Jessica Bradley
    Joyce & Bob Coder
It was an awesome trip as the Holy Spirit showed up in full measure. The ladies were busy teaching quilting & gourde enhancement in the mornings and doing a "Women of the Bible" Bible Study in the afternoons. In addition to that they did three days of VBS at various locations and they were a huge hit everywhere they went. In the meantime the men, and Laura, were busy drilling a well for the village of Naranjles, a half hour outside of San Pedro Sula. Many problems were encountered with the well drilling, but the power of prayer kept us together and we fought to overcome our obstacles. In the end we came up a little short of our desired goal of installing a pump in a new well because of equipment failure. However, we will return in December to repair the rig and finish the well. We made great friends with villagers who said that nobody had ever come to help them before. The real thrill was seeing the growth of the team members as they stepped out to serve the Lord!

  • Praise Report-The October Mission Trip to Haiti to build a church and join in 2 Revivals was incredible. All team members made it back safe and sound. God used this team in mighty ways, from completing a concrete church building from the ground up in a week to bringing a voodoo priest to Christ. They also experienced miracle healings, having a threatening voodoo witch doctor be silent at the name of Jesus, sharing testimonies for the first time and Baptizing several people. God showed His Power and Glory to this team and those they witnessed to in a mighty way. The team members who attended this trip were:
    • Greg Crider
    • Mike Sawyer
    • Edward Budge
    • Donald Dean
    • Floyd Cassita
    • Gerald Johnson
    • Sue-Anne Redekopp
    • Kelley Freeman
    • Josh Freeman
    • Bob Coder
  • The September Honduras Mission trip was a rough and difficult trip for the team, but God worked through them to complete 2 wells. Two communities, Montenuello and Que Broncho, now have fresh water. Neither community had potable water before this trip.
